Your Steering Committee is very pleased to invite you to the third ProCon Leicestershire Event of 2005 which focuses on Leicester Hospitals' PFI Project.

Two years ago, members of the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust Pathways Team gave us a brief introduction to the Leicester Hospitals' PFI Project. The feedback we received after that presentation indicated that you would like to hear more about this important project as it develops.

We have invited Deborah Matthews, Director of Strategic Development for the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust to review the context of the project, David Hartshorne of Triskelion Healthcare Limited to give an overview of the private sector consortium working with the Trust to deliver the project and David Hunter, the Project Director for Laing O'Rourke to present the current design and construction proposals for each hospital.

As always, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and debate the topic.

Laing O'Rourke are the construction partner to the consortium who will undertake the construction aspects of the project and Nick Hammond, Commercial Executive of Laing O'Rourke Midlands Limited will introduce the Company and the speakers for the Event.
