Current Developments in the Cultural and Business Quarters - 2 November 2005
Venue – The Nelson Suite, Leicester Racecourse, Oadby
Your Steering Committee is very pleased to invite you to the final scheduled ProCon Leicestershire Event of 2005 which focuses on developments in the Cultural and New Business Quarters in Leicester.
The redevelopment of the Charles Street Police Station site is underway and Niall McGilp, the Director at Akeler, the private sector developer, will present the scheme. Mike Candler, Leicester City Council’s Project Director for the Performing Arts and Conference Centre, will update you on the PACC’s design features and progress on site as well as introducing some other less high profile development projects taking place in the Cultural Quarter. To complete the picture there will be a presentation on the work taking place on the Leicester Mercury Group’s building. As always, there will be an opportunity to ask questions.
The Event will be held in the Nelson Suite at the Leicester Racecourse. Registration will commence at 6.00pm and formal proceedings will commence at 6.30pm. Afterwards, you are invited to stay for a glass of wine courtesy of our sponsors and the cash bar will be open after the formal session.
