This ‘Fish-eye’ lens shot is taken from the roof of what will be an hotel in Great Central Sq. It clearly puts the development into context with it’s surroundings, but also shows something of a changing urban landscape.

In 2nd Century AD this was a thriving area under Roman occupation with grand villas featuring mosaic floors. In Victorian times it was at the heart of Leicester’s Industrial Heritage with the bustling Great Central Railway and since the demolition of the Stibbe factory has been regenerated as this stylish office building to be opened in November 2019
