Dear Emerging Talent Members

As this unprecedented year draws to a close, we’d like to spend a moment to reflect on the positives.

Many of you joined us for our Bowling Networking event in January and our Virtual Pub Quiz in the summer. We also hope you’ve been able to attend the numerous other ProCon virtual presentations on a variety of topics, including Mental Health in Construction, Planning Regulation changes and Building Safety Regulations, to name but a few. We hope you’ve found these useful and we thank you for your continuous engagement in this difficult time.

From a previous email you will also be aware that ProCon has taken a decision that the Emerging Talent membership will revert to a free membership (for your first 3 years of membership, starting from 2021). We hope that this will encourage you to stay involved and to spread the word about Emerging Talent to grow our membership pool.

Our first virtual event of 2021 will be on Thursday, 4th February 2021 – so please SAVE THE DATE and join us for a virtual event! Full details of the event will follow in the new year.

As for now, for those of our members who will be using the holiday period to brush up on their baking skills, we’d like to invite you to our online only ***ProSCONE Baking Competition***!

If you wish to participate, please submit a photograph of your baked goodies of choice to info@procon-leicestershire.co.uk. These will be judged by the Emerging Talent Steering Group and the winner of each category will be announced during a short intermission during our February event (on 4th February 2021).

There are 2 competition categories – (1) General Baking and (2) Leicester(shire) themed baking.

The scoring criteria are – (1) visual appeal, (2) structural integrity and (3) creativity.

By participating in this competition, you agree that we may post your name and the photograph of your baking on the ProCon social media.

The winner of each category will receive a Leicester Gift Card (which can be used in 100 Leicester businesses including cafes, restaurants, shops and service providers).

You may submit as many entries as you like, but entries will close on 28th January 2021.
