ProCon Leicestershire Event Invite - Asset Stranding and the Impact on Property Values - 19 Sept
Supporting our industry's network of property and construction professionals

Dear Member

We are delighted to invite you to our next event on Tuesday 19 September, 8.00am at The King Power Stadium.

At this event Cundall will talk about ‘asset stranding’, the concept that assets (buildings) are rapidly devaluing if they are not achieving good energy performance. This means that no-one can or will rent them or buy them.

Funds and asset owners are really taking this to heart now, with most European and USA funds using the CREMM method to predict when stranding will occur in order to put a value on an asset.

David Kinnell leads the team at Cundall that work in this field, and will discuss the challenges, costs and solutions to keeping ahead of the stranding line, thus maintaining asset values.

This is a vast topic covering climate change, decarbonisation, the circular economy for the re-use of materials and so on. All driving the decisions behind what can be done to predict the future viability of a building and thereby it's value.

We are opening this up to guests as well so if you know anyone else including non-members that may want to join us please book them on.
