Season’s Greetings from ProCon Leicestershire
Supporting our industry's network of property and construction professionals

Dear ProCon Member

As a tumultuous 12 months draw to a close, I want to thank you for your support as a member of ProCon Leicestershire during 2020.

The year began with high hopes as we prepared to celebrate ProCon’s 20th year. But before the pandemic, before the lockdowns and the economic turmoil, ProCon itself faced a very personal loss when our founder and chair Pam Allardice died.

Pam selflessly devoted so much of her time and formidable energy in building up ProCon from an idea to a flourishing network crowned by 17 years of our hugely successful Awards.

It was an honour to succeed Pam as chair. The first lockdown got in the way of us gathering to salute Pam’s life and legacy. But that celebration is merely delayed; we will never forget all she achieved.

Also postponed are our 18th ProCon Awards. The new date is November 11 2021, and you can enter your projects any time until July 7. Our thanks to our corporate, award and associate sponsors for their continued support.

Thanks also to our fourteen 2020 Patrons, whose backing enabled ProCon to host and co-host a series of online webinars and other virtual networking events which have kept us connected since March.

If you are interested in being involved and raising your profile as a sponsor or patron please do get in touch.

More than 1,000 property and construction professionals have taken advantage of these opportunities. And we will continue to come together virtually in 2021 as we look forward to gathering in person when possible.

Our Emerging Talent group for those establishing themselves in our professional ranks will also continue to connect, with membership now free for three years.

In January you will receive your membership details for 2021. The board has agreed not to increase membership fees and I hope you will quickly renew so ProCon can plan a full year of exciting opportunities for our members.

It is thanks to you, our sponsors, our Patrons and our supporters beyond that ProCon is such a vibrant and vital network that exists for you.

On behalf of the ProCon board I wish you a peaceful, healthy Christmas and a bright and prosperous 2021.

Umesh Desai, Chair – ProCon Leicestershire
