VISTRY

Vistry build more homes in the UK than any other housebuilder. We develop places people love, with community comforts ranging from play parks and orchards to schools and allotments.

We build homes responsibly, for people at every stage of their lives, from first-time buyers, shared ownership and affordable homes to buy or rent, to life-long family homes, and retirement villages. We do this through our unique approach - working closely with a range of partners, both public and private, who know what homes are needed most and where. This strategy maximises the number of homes, including quality affordable homes, that we can build every year.
Utilising our retail brands of Bovis Homes, Linden Homes and Countryside Homes, we also sell open-market homes directly to customers, as we continue to deliver high quality homes and service.

VISTRY EAST MIDLANDS

We have two East Midlands business units and a Vistry Works timber factory based in Narborough, Leicester, along with a second and larger Vistry Works in Bardon, Coalville.

We currently have 18 live sites across Leicestershire and the wider East Midlands, and we are always looking at opportunities to work with housing providers and councils across the region to find the best solutions to housing problems.

Vistry Works is the manufacturing arm of the Vistry Group and is an instrumental part of the Group strategy. It allows us to deliver modern methods of construction at scale and build high quality new homes faster, more economically and in a more environmentally friendly way. Between the two Leicestershire factories, we create open, closed and hybrid timber panels, along with floor cassettes and roof trusses.
The Vistry Innovation Centre is located within the Bardon factory. The VIC is a unique, sector-leading facility incorporating over 100 cutting-edge technologies and products that will be used to help meet the company’s net zero ambitions as well as the delivery of the forthcoming Future Homes Standard.

OUR PRESENCE IN LEICESTER IS GROWING!

We currently have two live developments in Leicestershire, and two more on the horizon:

  • Development is well underway at Little Glen in Glen Parva. Working with EMH we are delivering 68 affordable homes, the remaining 97 are being sold privately through Linden Homes. Phase 2 will commence next year and includes a further 26 units.
  • Earl’s Croft in Earl Shilton has just started on site. We are partnering with Places for People to create 83 quality homes, and a further 57 homes for open market sale through Countryside Homes.
  • Foxes View, Sileby, named because of its location overlooking the Leicester City Football Club training ground, will be our next scheme and includes 228 new family homes with 60% of these pre-sold to Midland Heart, and the remaining for private sale through Linden Homes.
  • Miller’s Place in Hinckley will be split across two phases and will be our largest site in the area with 475 new homes for the community. This site will include affordable and private rented homes and homes for open-market sale.
