The Strategic Growth Plan is a long term high level plan that is being prepared jointly by a partnership formed by Leicester City Council, Leicestershire County Council , the District and Borough Councils, and the Leicester & Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP). In its final form the Plan will set out an agreed strategy focussing on delivering new housing, supporting the economy, identifying essential infrastructure, and protecting the environment and built heritage for the period to 2050.
A presentation on the Draft Plan will be given by Pat Willoughby, the Leicester & Leicestershire Joint Strategic Planning Manager; Mike Durban, Head of Strategy at the LLEP; and a representative of the two highway authorities.
