Tour of University of Leicester Passivhaus Centre for Medicine

10th May 2016: 6.00pm arrival for 6.30pm start to presentation. Close approx 8.30pm

The University of Leicester recently opened the doors to one of the most exciting sustainable build projects that they have undertaken to create a Centre for Medicine. The new building meets Passivhaus and BREEAM standards and is now officially the largest Passivhaus building in the UK.

The Centre for Medicine is at the heart of the regeneration of healthcare in Leicester and provides a vital central hub for academics, students, health service partners and research teams needed to meet the healthcare challenges of the future.

This event will provide you with the opportunity to meet the team from the University and also Willmott Dixon, Couch Perry Wilkes and Associated Architects who brought this project to life.

There will be a short presentation followed by a tour of the building. This will lead onto a Q&A session with the opportunity to network beyond this.
