2015 ProCon Awards finalists revealed

Sixteen new and refurbished buildings are in the running to be named winners in the 2015 ProCon Leicestershire Awards.

The developers, architects, contractors and consultants who worked on the projects in Leicestershire and Rutland will find out on November 12 if they have won a coveted award.

More than 650 people will gather at Leicester’s King Power Stadium for the ceremony – the tickets for which sold out the day they went on sale in May.

Four corporate sponsors are backing the Awards. They are Gateley Plc, Salus Approved Inspectors, Unique Window Systems and Westleigh Partnerships. The Leicester Mercury is the Awards’ media partner.

The categories and their finalists are:

The Small Residential Scheme of the Year, sponsored by Infrastructure Investment:

• Green Lane/Main Street, Ashley, submitted by brp architects
• New Hunt Manager’s Cottage, Great Bowden, submitted by Corporate Architecture
• Spring Bank, Medbourne, submitted by brp architects

The Large Residential Scheme of the Year, sponsored by Infrastructure Investment:

• Oak Court Extra Care Home, Blaby, submitted by brp architects
• St James Gate – Phase 1, Anstey, submitted by Davidsons Homes
• Stonesby House, Leicester, submitted by Architects LE1

The Small Non-Residential Scheme of the Year, sponsored by Danaher & Walsh:

• Catering & Hospitality Building/Rural Food Centre, Brooksby Melton College, submitted by GF Tomlinson Building
• The reinterment of King Richard III, Leicester Cathedral, submitted by MDA Consulting
• Volunteer Training and Working Centre, Egleton, submitted by Corporate Architecture

The Large Non-Residential Scheme of the Year, sponsored by Danaher & Walsh:

The Regeneration Scheme of the Year, sponsored by EME Installations:

• Connecting Leicester – Old Town, submitted by Leicester City Council

The Sustainable Development of the Year, sponsored by Willmott Dixon Construction:
