DMU funds LBV memberships for local firms

Selected Leicestershire businesses will receive funded membership of Leicestershire Business Voice (LBV) under a new initiative from De Montfort University Leicester (DMU).

The scheme is aimed at companies that have already worked with the university through programmes such as Help to Grow: Management, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships or consultancy projects.

DMU will cover the cost of a 12-month LBV membership, giving participating firms continued access to local business events, peer networks and discussions on issues affecting growth across the county.

The initiative is designed to extend support beyond the end of individual university projects and give businesses another route into Leicester and Leicestershire’s wider commercial network.

Some companies involved in DMU programmes have already attended LBV events, including the organisation’s Annual Members’ Dinner, and several have since become members.

DMU is itself a member of LBV, which brings together businesses and organisations from across Leicestershire.
