PRP Celebrates 40 Years of Engineering Excellence
PRP, a leading firm of Consulting Civil and Structural Engineers and Surveyors, is proud to celebrate its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of expertise, innovation, and commitment to shaping sustainable communities across the UK.
Founded in 1985, Paul Reading and Partners began as a small consultancy with a passion for delivering high-quality engineering and surveying solutions and a dedication to client service. Over the past four decades, the practice has grown with offices in Northampton and Leicester, to become a trusted partner to developers, architects, and contractors, providing creative and pragmatic design solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, health care, and education projects of all scales.
“Reaching 40 years is a remarkable milestone,” said Dan Edwards, Director at PRP. “Our success has always been built on the strength of our people and the lasting relationships we’ve developed with our clients. We’re proud of our heritage, but even more excited about what lies ahead as we continue to innovate and build for the future.”
Throughout its 40-year history, PRP has remained committed to supporting local communities and nurturing the next generation of engineers and surveyors. The company actively engages with local schools, offers graduate and apprenticeship programmes, and contributes to the community and charities — most recently through its annual 12 Days of Christmas Giving campaign.
“’What’s kept PRP strong all these years is our adaptability,’ added Himanshu Patel, Director at PRP ‘From drawing boards to digital design, we’ve embraced change while staying true to our core values of quality, integrity, and collaboration.’”
As PRP celebrates this significant milestone, the firm is also looking ahead, investing in new office space and expanding its multidisciplinary expertise to meet the challenges of modern construction and environmental responsibility.
