Second phase of industrial/warehouse development in Leicestershire moves forward
The second phase of a major warehousing project in Leicestershire is moving forward. This follows the completion of a unit for Network Rail in the first wave of development.
Venture Park, from Brackley Property Developments in a joint venture with Venture Properties Group, brings forward a 3.28-acre site at Churchill Way Industrial Estate in Fleckney with outline planning consent for up to ten new industrial/warehouse units.
Buildings can range in size from 1,711 sq ft to 40,300 sq ft to suit occupier demand, with the flexibility to combine units or for bespoke design and build.
Stephen Pedrick-Moyle, managing director at Brackley Property Developments, said: "Phase 2 at Venture Park represents a fantastic opportunity for businesses seeking high quality industrial or warehouse space in a popular and well-connected location.
"Following the success of the first phase, we are pleased to be bringing forward a flexible scheme that can accommodate a wide range of occupier requirements on either a freehold or leasehold basis."
Agents appointed to market the scheme are Mather Jamie and Innes England.
Peter Doleman, director at Innes England, said: "We continue to see the flight to quality from occupiers at both ends of the size spectrum, in view of the greater thermal benefits and enhanced corporate profile such buildings offer.
"With little new development taking place, Venture Park offers occupiers these advantages within an established and popular industrial location."
Alex M Reid, director at Mather Jamie, added: "Whilst the past few years has seen delivery of larger regional occupier space centred on motorway locations, the delivery of much needed local occupier space has been limited throughout the county.
"Venture Park offers an ideal opportunity for owners and occupiers to acquire quality new build accommodation."
