Trio of new directors at BSP Consulting
East Midlands-based civil and structural engineer BSP Consulting has strengthened its senior team with a trio of new directors.
Carol Ell, Monika Anszperger and James Payne have each been with BSP for a number of years.
Based in BSP's Leicester office, Ell has been appointed as director of civils. An expert in flood and risk assessment and drainage strategy design, she joined the company in 2004 as a civil engineer and has since held lead associate, associate director roles.
Anszperger has extensive experience of structural engineering design for large complex projects. Her project management and coordination of consulting engineering services extends across all sectors. She will now lead the Derby team as director of the office.
Payne joined BSP as an apprentice in 2001, became finance manager and then associate director. He now takes up the role of director with responsibility for IT infrastructure and administration.

Clive Roddick and Tony Goddard will be stepping down as directors. Roddick, a founding director of the business, will continue to play a role within BSP as a consultant, while Goddard is retiring.
The new roles will take effect from 1 April 2026.
