Oakmount Drive is a development of three detached family homes in a gateway position on the edge of Medbourne. The scheme transformed a site previously occupied by a 1980s dwelling and redundant barn.
A decision was taken to prioritise quality over quantity, delivering three individually designed homes set within generous plots. The result is a low-density development with extensive south-facing gardens.
The scheme’s contemporary architecture combines natural stone, timber cladding, aluminium detailing and expansive glazing. Internally, there are bespoke oak staircases designer kitchens and microcement bathrooms.
All three properties at Oakmount Drive were secured by purchasers prior to practical completion, successfully regenerating an underused site by delivering commercially successful homes.
The EPC A-rated homes reduced energy demand by the use of highly insulated timber frame construction, solar panels, air source heat pumps and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.
The landscaping around each dwelling was carefully adapted to respond to the natural fall of the land, using the topography as a defining characteristic of the development.

Located on a former agricultural site in the heart of the village, the six individually designed homes bridge the historic character of Congerstone with its expanding residential neighbourhood.
A traditional farmstead and dairy, Brook Farm is now host to a collection of four new contemporary homes influenced by the forms, footprints and materials of its former agricultural barns.
