Focus on Hinckley - current and future developments

The market town of Hinckley in the South East of Leicestershire has seen some significant development projects take place in recent years – from the new Crescent retail area and bus station, to the refurbishment of a number of its old mill buildings for new uses, new Council Offices and Leisure Centre and the development of the nearby Horiba MIRA site as an Enterprise Zone. There is more to come, with a number of additional sites available for development in the town centre and surrounding areas.

Bill Cullen, Deputy Chief Executive of Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council will speak about the Borough’s on-going regeneration programme and Corin Crane, LLEP Director will put the developments in and around Hinckley within the wider context of creating prosperity and opportunity for all across the region.

Following these short presentations there will be a guided walk round Hinckley Town Centre to show you some of the recently completed projects and sites for future development.
