Would you like to know more about the procurement process operated by Leicester City Council? Would you like to feed back to the Council your experiences and comments about this process?
If so, then you should attend this workshop.
Sir Peter Soulsby and Neil Bayliss, Head of Procurement will be in attendance and will provide an overview. But the main aim is to consult with ProCon members and to get your feedback.

The Procurement consultation event was attended by approx 50 delegates. All of whom had a chance to speak to the City Mayor and put across their view points on the Leicester City Council procurement process.
Whilst the main points were summarised by Andrew Smith, Director on the day; the Counsil will be putting together an action plan that will be submitted to those present at the event and also other members in due course.
There will also be a follow up event planned for early in 2015.

Leicester City Council is the unitary authority serving the people, communities and businesses of Leicester, the biggest city in the East Midlands.
During 2011, Leicester residents voted in Peter Soulsby as the city mayor. He will lead the city for four years.
He appointed Rory Palmer as his deputy and six councillors as assistant city mayors.
There are 54 councillors representing 22 wards across the city who are appointed by local elections.
