Edward Cooper Young establishes dedicated Care Team

Edward Cooper Young (ECY), the multi-award-winning professional services provider in land, property and construction have established a dedicated Care Team within the practice.

The Loughborough based Chartered Surveying firm, who has over 40 team members, provides tailored advice within the built environment via its wide range services including: Project Management, Employer’s Agent, Construction Management, Building Surveying and Development Monitoring.

The Firm has a strong record in advising and delivering projects in this sector, with over 150 care related schemes completed within its 12 years of practice.

The new team will be led by Shivam Radia, who has been with ECY for over 5 years working predominately on care and medical projects.

Shivam will be joined by a team of six surveyors and a Client Co-ordinator. The team will be strategically managed by the Firm’s Senior Partner, Ashley Cooper.

Shivam Radia commented, ‘This Team’s creation is the natural evolution based upon the developments and Clients we have worked on and with over the years. It will allow us to fully focus on delivering care projects of which we have such a wide and detailed knowledge base. The outturn is our Clients will only get a better service.’

ECY has advised on over 150+ care projects and is currently working on 43 schemes both a pre and post contract stages for various operators and developers. In March 2020, the team were proud to be awarded the Best Regeneration Care Home at the Pinders Healthcare Awards for their project work at Tallington Lodge.
