Fergus Shaw Announced as Chairman for The Institution of Structural Engineers East Midlands Regional Group

The The Institution of Structural Engineers East Midlands Regional Group Committee is pleased to announce that Fergus Shaw FIStructE of Diamond Wood and Shaw Limited, has volunteered to take on the role of Chairman for 2022.

Fergus is a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers and Forum for the Built Environment as well as being a Member of The Institution of Civil Engineers. He has previously served on the Midland Counties Branch Committee as Secretary and Chairman before transferring to the East Midlands Regional Group.

He has been involved in our activities for a number of years including carrying out PRI reviews. He has also served on Council, the Technical Publications Panel, Professional Conduct Committee Small Practitioners Panel at IStructE Headquarters in London.
