Partnership paves way for 125 affordable homes in Hinckley

Vistry has entered a partnership to bring forward 125 affordable homes at a development in Hinckley. 

The Millers Place site, situated to the east of Stoke Road and north of Normandy Way, has planning permission for 475 homes. Emh will take 125 homes for the affordable market, with a significant proportion available through affordable rent and shared ownership.

The remaining homes will be split between the private rental sector and open market sale, with about 20 per cent PRS and 50 per cent marketed through Vistry's Bovis Homes, Linden Homes and Countryside Homes brands.

Andy Reynolds, managing director of Vistry South East Midlands, said: "Partnering with emh at Millers Place is a major step forward for Hinckley, helping to accelerate delivery of affordable homes alongside a balanced mix of tenures.

All homes at Millers Place will be constructed using modern methods of construction, including timber frame panels from the Vistry Works factory in Bardon.
