Property agents Sheldon Bosley Knight snaps up Andrew Granger & Co

Land and property company Sheldon Bosley Knight (SBK), which has operations across the central England, has acquired its fifth business in as many months.

SBK has added Leicestershire-based Andrew Granger & Co to its portfolio of businesses. Its offices in Market Harborough, Oadby and Loughborough oversee a lettings department of approximately 1,000 properties alongside a sales operation which lists around 400 properties each year.

The company’s rural, commercial and planning departments will also be added to SBK as well as the 50 members of staff who will continue to be based in its three offices.

Andrew Granger was established more than 30 years ago and directors Mark Sandall, Andrew Robinson, Peter Buckingham and Rupert Harrison all continue with the firm.

SBK, which celebrates its 180th birthday this year, has more than 120 in-house staff in offices across Coventry and Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Worcestershire and the Cotswolds.

The addition of Andrew Granger & Co is the fifth acquisition for SBK this year.

The last 18 months have seen the partial or complete acquisition by SBK of Bradgate, Fox Country Property, Hawkins Estates and Lettings, James Sellicks, Tim Cox Associates, Wigwam Estate Agency, Kavanagh Commercial, Robin Jones, Croft Property Management, Andrew Greenwood, Alexanders and F2L.
