Senior marketing appointment at Built Environment Consulting

Leading East Midlands mechanical and electrical engineering firm Built Environment Consulting (BEC) has expanded its team with the appointment of Diana Hawkins as a marketing and business development manager.

Diana will be based at BEC’s new Nottingham office, which opened in November 2017.

BEC, whose head office is in Castle Donington, delivers projects across a range of sectors including sport and leisure, hotel and education, and provides leading sustainable solutions for the built environment.

Diana, who joins the team from Independence Products Ltd where she worked as a product and marketing executive, will be responsible for BEC’s marketing and business development in her new role, whilst acting as the office manager and undertaking administrative duties.

She said: “I’ve had an interest in the engineering industry for a while now and I’ve heard about BEC’s growth and the opening of its new Nottingham office, I was keen to be a part of its exciting expansion plans. The firm offers great career prospects with a very positive and supportive culture.

“I’m pleased to be working with the team and being based in the heart of Nottingham office. It’s a brilliant opportunity to further my career in marketing and business development.”

Diana, who lives in Derbyshire, studied international business at Nottingham Trent University.
