Tilbury Douglas completes refurbishment works at Nottingham Crown Court
Tilbury Douglas, a building, infrastructure, engineering and fit-out business, has completed refurbishment works at Nottingham Crown Court.
Procured via the Ministry of Justice Strategic Alliance Eastern Framework, the project included the replacement of the roof directly above the live courts, alongside internal refurbishments to the lobby, glazing replacement works, MEP service upgrades and refurbishment of the existing atrium.
Completed in collaboration with Tilbury Douglas' Engineering team, YMD Boon architects and Hexa, the project required coordination with the local authority to manage road closures, alternative logistics arrangements and site deliveries.
Chris Loach, regional director – East Midlands at Tilbury Douglas, said: "The works were undertaken within a fully live, high-security environment, with continuous court operations maintained throughout the two-year programme.
"In addition, all wider court business-as-usual activities were successfully maintained for the duration of the project.
"Thanks to everyone involved with this project for ensuring its successful delivery."
