Castle View is a luxury development of three homes and one bungalow on the edge of the Leicestershire village of Great Easton.
Constructed with local Lincolnshire ironstone, brick and English larch cladding each of the two to five bedroom homes are differentiated through design elements but united in their use of quality materials and craftsmanship.
The scheme was envisaged as a sympathetic development of impressive homes, each with their own individualities, that enhanced their setting.
Orientating four two to five bedroom homes and allocating space on a sensitive site of just over an acre was a key task. Each of the homes needed to enjoy the views across the Welland Valley whilst appearing different yet coherent as part of their village location.
Each house has different combinations of local ironstone, brickwork and cladding. This also reflects the organic development of properties elsewhere in the area.
One was sold before completion and two very soon after. The large property has just been released to the market.
