On your marks, get set, go! Emerging Talent gets off to a flying start

The ProCon Leicestershire Emerging Talent group for young professionals in the property and construction sector has now well and truly launched. The group, aimed at those under 35 who are working in the industry, to help them forge links for now and the future, celebrated a very successful Launch Event on 22 June at Leicester’s City Hall. Over 55 young professionals from a variety of professional backgrounds attended the event at which Joe Taylor of the Emerging Talent steering group and ProCon chair Pam Allardice introduced the group and its aims for the future. Later, the attendees were able to network with each other over refreshments and entertain each other with the Emerging Talent’s very own networking Bingo.

The Emerging Talent steering group members are keen to ensure the group provides as many valuable opportunities as possible for their fellow colleagues to network with each other, so the group’s next event will follow swiftly on 13 July at the Parcel Yard, next to Leicester Railway Station. This will be a great opportunity for anyone that missed the Launch Event to join the group and network with fellow professionals in a more informal setting.

The group wants to ensure that Emerging Talent is not only a platform for networking but also a forum for training and discussions, so the steering group is already organising its first Masterclass panel type event to be held in September 2017.
