IMA Architects works with a range of the UK's leading property developers, FTSE 100 companies, global brands and local authorities to deliver exceptional industrial, logistical and commercial buildings. We are currently active across numerous projects nationally, which when complete will deliver substantial new buildings for companies including Clowes Developments, Lidl GB, a world-renowned luxury car brand and a global logistics and shipping company. We are proud to work alongside developers that are investing in the UK to drive growth and create employment opportunities.

The foundation of IMA's success continues to be built on strong, enduring partnerships with our clients. The majority of our work comes from repeat commissions and referrals from satisfied clients, reflecting the quality of service and results we consistently deliver.

We continue to work closely with our longstanding client Clowes Developments, with whom we have collaborated for over 14 years. This year, we have supported Clowes with significant schemes at Beauchamp Business Park in Leicester, delivering multiple commercial and industrial units. At Fairham Business Park and Stud Brook Business Park, we have continued our track record of creating high-quality commercial spaces that meet the evolving needs of modern businesses.

We are continuing to work with Lidl GB and have been instructed to provide architectural services and advice on the construction of two new Regional Distribution Centres in Gildersome, Leeds and in Belvedere, London. We have worked with Lidl GB since 2012 and have now been instructed on 10 Regional Distribution Centres for the company.

We are also proud to continue working with a world-renowned luxury car brand and a global logistics and shipping company, delivering innovative architectural solutions that combine functionality with exceptional design quality.

We have developed a reputation of providing efficiency and quality on every one of our projects. We have maintained our ISO 19650-2 accreditation, achieved in November 2022. We have also adopted Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes, procedures and policies throughout the business to further develop and deliver projects to the highest of standards. ISO19650 accreditation as Lead Appointed Party, is seen as a crucial achievement for IMA and reflects the businesses ambition for continual improvement and allows us to enhance our mission of providing efficiency, quality and collaboration to our clients.

Due to our expertise in BIM, in October 2025 IMA Architects was appointed to the Fusion 21 Framework, a significant appointment that will open up new opportunities across the public sector. This framework appointment recognises IMA's capabilities and track record in delivering high-quality, sustainable developments.

Over the past 3 years, we have invested significantly in our Digital Twin technology and have developed a working Digital Twin prototype within the grounds of our Blaby HQ. We are currently in discussions with several clients on how this technology can be implemented on their upcoming schemes to improve building management processes.

As Architects, we are committed to promoting environmental sustainability in all aspects of our work. Through responsible practice and innovative design, we aim to reduce environmental impact, enhance building performance, and contribute to a sustainable future. We have signed up to the Architects Declare, a collective of practices across the UK who are joining forces to tackle the climate and biodiversity crisis head-on. By joining, we stand alongside hundreds of practices who share the same vision: to transform the way we design and build, for the benefit of people and the planet.

2025 has been a year of significant achievements for IMA, particularly in recognising and developing talent within the business.

Apprentice Sofia Coviello has been named as a finalist in the Apprentice of the Year category at the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Leicestershire Business Awards. This achievement reflects both Sofia's dedication and IMA's investment in developing the next generation of architectural professionals within our business.

The practice has also celebrated two team members achieving full architect qualification. Director Joe Travers and architect Tasawar Rahim have both successfully completed their professional examinations, becoming fully qualified architects. Their progression demonstrates IMA's commitment to supporting professional development and represents a significant milestone for both individuals and the practice. Sofia has also completed her final examination and is currently undergoing the application process with ARB to become a fully qualified architect.

As we look ahead to 2026, we remain focused on delivering exceptional design while continuing to invest in our people and strengthen our position within the construction industry. We will continue to work closely with our established clients on exciting new projects while building new partnerships with organisations that share our commitment to quality and innovation.
